Lot 3511 3 FOREIGN SWORDS.

1) Swedish M1848 short sword or fascine knife measuring 24 1/4" overall with a plain blade stamped "AH" likely for Holler of Solingen. Brass S shaped guard and 2 piece wooden grips with a lanyard hole at the pommel. Brass mounted leather scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a pleasing gray patina. Hilt and scabbard show light wear with scuffing. 2) Ecuadorian Police dress sword measuring 38 1/2" overall with an etched blade marked "(logo) WKC" & "GERMANY KIFFE". The blade is etched with the arms of Ecuador, foliate motifs, and a panel that reads "POLICIA DEL ECUADOR". Plated hilt with a 3 branch guard featuring the arms of Ecuador. Wire wrapped composite grip and a plated scabbard. CONDITION: light wear overall. 3) Likely an early Iranian copy of a Russian M1881 shashka measuring 39 1/4" overall with a plain blade marked with Persian numbers at the ricasso. Brass hilt with Persian numbers on the pommel and a reeded wood grip. Steel scabbard with a black painted finish. CONDITION: a well used saber with wear throughout and 60% finish on the scabbard.
